I visited Buenos Aires, Argentina, with my partner in the Spring of 2008. We spent about one week there and stayed with family in the Palermo district. The plane ride took about 10 hours from Houston, Texas. There were problems with air pollution due to the many hectares of grass being burned by the ranchers near the city. Despite that problem we had a wonderful time. I recommend visiting there.
